Summer Feelings in the Finnish Archipelago
We started the Houtskari Summer Retreats with Juha in 2000. The archipelago between Finland and Sweden is stunning in the summertime. Sauna in the morning and evening gives a special Finnish vibe for the retreat as well as a delicious vegetarian meals.
Finnish sauna and dip into the ocean
It is easy to get there with the bus or car even if the trip takes about 5 hours from Helsinki. There is a bus stop right in the front of the resort. The Näsby town with harbor, shops, old church, museums and restaurants are 10 min walking distance away. The local language is Swedish (or Finnish-Swedish) but many locals also speak Finnish and English fluently.
The retreat is family friendly with children yoga classes and activities. Yoga is taught also for the beginners and teenagers. Wambui will guide the led classes for the beginners on the weeks 1-2.
