“Ashtanga for all – creating a culture of care through the practice”
Purple Valley Goa has been running an European Purple Valley Retreats in Tenerife, Canary Islands. The resort is an amazing combination of all different artistic houses and buildings just few minutes away from the famous hotels and beaches, but in a completely peaceful environment. The shala is beautiful and the food amazing.
In this part of Tenerife (Playa Paraiso, Adeje) the sun is shining almost every day and the temperature is much higher than in many other parts of the island. There is summer all around the year.
During this retreat, we will focus on facilitating the practice in a way that honor each practitioner as the unique individuals that they are, sharing our experiences and techniques which help to release unconscious biases, expectations and pressure from “past” samskaras of our lineage and to find our own way into the practice Ashtanga Yoga. We still honor and follow the Ashtanga Vinyasa method…from a more accessible worldview.
This retreat is open for all levels of practitioners – from beginners to advanced.
